Holmdel, New Jersey (September 25, 2025) – ETHERFAX today announced that its government solution, ETHERFAX GovCloud, has received an Authorization to Operate (ATO) from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). With this milestone, ETHERFAX is in the process of final certification with the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP®) at FedRAMP’s High baseline including Department of Defense (DoD) CC SRG Impact Level 5 (IL5) cybersecurity controls.
With ETHERFAX GovCloud, government agencies can securely exchange high-resolution documents in the cloud without relying on costly legacy telephony infrastructure. Using a modern, software-defined network, ETHERFAX enables secure document exchange through email, faxing, and API connections to mission-critical applications. ETHERFAX is listed in the FedRAMP Marketplace, making it easier for U.S. government agencies to seamlessly adopt ETHERFAX’s secure document exchange cloud technology.
“Securing an ATO from NOAA is a major achievement in our FedRAMP journey and reflects our commitment to meeting the federal government’s rigorous compliance standards,” said Paul Banco, CEO and co-founder of ETHERFAX. “We’re proud to be sponsored by NOAA, and we look forward to finalizing our progress toward FedRAMP High IL5 certification.”
ETHERFAX simplifies workflows by seamlessly integrating with mission-critical applications and multifunction devices. A key benefit of ETHERFAX GovCloud is the flexibility to implement a fully cloud-based or hybrid approach to faxing, allowing agencies to modernize at their own pace.
