Global Airtech Soars Into the Cloud with FaxCore and etherFAX

Marlboro, NJ (October 5, 2011) - etherFAX, LLC today announced that Global Airtech, a worldwide distributor of airline parts and services has selected FaxCore and etherFAX to manage its business-critical fax communications. Utilizing FaxCore with etherFAX, Global Airtech now leverages the cloud to send and receive thousands of fax orders each month from its aviation customers.

Because fax communications is a key aspect of Global Airtech's order processing, the company needed a fault-tolerant, highly-available solution, while expanding its fax infrastructure. Prior to selecting FaxCore, the company used RightFAX, but relied on traditional telephony infrastructure which was costly. Global Airtech replaced RightFAX with FaxCore using the etherFAX hosted infrastructure model. All of their fax communications are now transmitted via the cloud, offering significant cost savings and improved scalability without having to make any capital investment.

"The model is by far the best I have seen," explained Rodney Chiamulon, CEO of Global Airtech. "I can truly say for the first time I have one place to go to for all my faxing needs. Prior to FaxCore and etherFAX, technical issues would require contacting my reseller, telecom provider, and internal resources such as my phone team and network administrator. FaxCore and etherFAX eliminated situations like this and provided a cost-effective solution that was easy to implement."

In order to fully integrate FaxCore with Global Airtech's internal systems, FaxCore created a PERL front-end to its .NET SDK. This enabled Global Airtech to leverage existing applications and processes, and seamlessly integrate FaxCore into their business operations.

"In addition to FaxCore, etherFAX is compatible with almost all fax applications, giving enterprises such as Global Airtech the flexibility to leverage their existing technology investment," said Paul Banco, Chief Executive Officer at etherFAX. "etherFAX simply serves as virtual ports enabling fax servers to securely send and receive high volumes of faxes via the cloud instead of traditional PSTN infrastructure."

etherFAX offers a unique infrastructure as a service (IaaS) solution that extends fax server technology such as FaxCore to the cloud. By eliminating the need for costly components of a fax server, fax board, and recurring telephony expenses, etherFAX's patent-pending technology leverages the Internet to manage all business-critical fax communications.
